Easter Greetings from the Farm! 2019 is flying fast and I'm happy to report great progress with my health over the past 12 months. I have been able to do small guest appearances at various festivals & clubs including Tamworth CMF and our local Uke Mullum nights and Open Mic Nights.
A milestone breakthrough this week as I sang for a full hour (no PA) to entertain the beautiful residents at our local nursing home. Now this may not seem like a very big deal to you, but for someone who was a "gig queen", doing 3 and 4 hour shows, 3 to 4 times a week for many years, this was a HUGE deal! Now I can finally move forward with confidence that my health won't me let down.
Thank you to all the country music radio presenters in Australia, UK, NZ and Europe who made my last release Honky Tonk Stardust Cowboy an even bigger hit than the first time around 10 years ago. #3 on the Australian Country Tracks Chart and #3 on the International Top 40 Singles Chart in Europe.
Always, my heartfelt appreciation to my promotions team of Stephen Brady (CRS Australia) and Ross Allen (Hillcrest Canada) for their wisdom in re-releasing some of the biggest hits from my Classic Hits CD whilst in recovery. There will be a new release in May/June, this time the wonderful duet with Bill Chambers, the Louvin Bros' If I could Only Win Your Love from the Wildflowers album.
